Don McDonald is a veteran broadcaster and financial advisor with over 40 years in radio and wealth management, including hosting the nationally syndicated financial show Talking Real Money since 1988. A lifelong storyteller and professional voice talent, he created the Short Storyverses network of podcasts to share quality audio storytelling with dedicated listeners. His shows include Season's Readings(holiday stories), Litreading (classic short fiction), New Tales Told (original stories), and Readastorus (children's content).

Tom Cock is a Partner and West Coast Regional Director at Apella Wealth in Bellevue, Washington. He has worked in broadcasting since the mid-1970s, hosting the PBS television program "Serious Money" for many years before transitioning to financial advisory work. He has also published a business journal and managed and owned radio stations. In 2009, he co-founded Vestory, a fee-only registered investment advisory firm, with Don McDonald. Vestory later merged with Apella Wealth. Tom holds a BA from Whitman College and an MPA from The Evergreen State College. He is active in community service in the Seattle area. He is also a high school soccer referee.
